support requirements and desired response time of our important
and varied customer base. Our goal in offering 24/7 support
services is to significantly increase the success of your
applications throughout an installation's lifecycle.
Laser Spec believes that all customers today are concerned
with having "full service availability" for all
their "mission critical" manufacturing operations,
which certainly includes CNC equipment. Down time costs money
and puts the customer's business unnecessarily at risk. Making
sure every installation is covered by a Support Plan provides
increased service availability and long-term investment.
24/ 7 Telephone Assistance
24/7 support is available if the system the caller is servicing
has a valid 24/7 Service Pack Agreement and the call is
an emergency in nature. With a Service Pack Agreement there
will be no charge for the after hours telephone technical
support provided. If the caller is at a site, which does
not have a valid Agreement and requires telephone technical
assistance, a purchase order or credit card must be forwarded
to the on-call technician prior to telephone support activities
being rendered. Additional charges apply if Remote Terminal
diagnostic support is required.
Products Not Purchased From Laser Spec
On many occasions, technical support is requested to provide
assistance on hardware and/or CNC equipment not purchased
from Laser Spec, or assistance is required due to problems
caused by these products. When requested, technical support
will attempt to provide assistance where possible. All technical
support assistance for such support requests will be billable
at prevailing T & E rates.
